Initial consultation
The initial consultation will take 60-75 minutes. During this consultation we will go through your medical histories. Men may be asked for a semen sample for analysis and should therefore have abstained from ejaculation for 3-5 days prior to the consultation. Women will have a full physical and internal examination, as well as an ultrasound scan. Afterwards we will discuss all the relevant treatment options with you. Depending on the options, we may ask you to do a number of blood tests and/or other investigations. After the doctor’s consultation, you will see one of the nurses.
