Egg donation

Egg donation may offer the only chance of conception for women who produce too few eggs, poor quality eggs, no eggs, or eggs that are unsuitable for genetic reasons.

London Fertility Centre recruits egg donors within the UK, however the number of egg donors has reduced since the removal of donor anonimity in 2005. Therefore, LFC operates overseas egg donation services in conjunction with reputable overseas centres who perform the same screening as in the UK.  

A patient/couple requesting egg donation will be seen at the London Fertility Centre (UK) for consultation, physical examination, ultrasound and screening. Recipients must receive implications counselling to discuss and explore the implications of receiving donation.

London Fertility Centre has an upper age limit for recipients of 55 complete years, i.e. you must not have reached your 56th birthday at the time of the embryo transfer, for treatment using fresh donated eggs.
